Very good prompts.
My daughter is 13 and currently in counseling. Has poor self esteem and image issues. Very good thing to help with that with things you can do at home. Very good price and tracking and shipping was quick.

Self Empowerment
I purchased this book as a gift. The young lady thanked me for such a wonderful gift. She told me how this book changed her perspective on life. She had been feeling unworthy of love for a while. Reading this book reassured her that everyone deserves love! She enjoys answering the questions. She brings this book with her everywhere she goes, writing down her thoughts and feelings daily. I recommend this book for everyone who has or knows a teenage girl. It can truly help them navigate life easier!

Must have tool for the minds of all ages
Cindy Whitehead’s book is not solely for teens but girls and women of all ages. My copy is proudly displayed in Torrance Memorial’s Medical Library. The comprehensive journal is a well-rounded process for effectively and successfully guiding and navigating girls and women into enhancing or becoming their best version of themselves. The journal process is a creative way of showcasing celebrity uplifting posts and focuses on ways of critical thinking. I’ve purchased extra copies for the eating disorder patients as an extension of their self-care and process improvement. A perfect gift for yourself, friends, daughters, nieces and granddaughters!!! I’ll be utilizing my copy on the daily!

Bought this as a gift for my 12 year old daughter’s friend who has low self esteem and body confidence issues that causes suic1dal ideation at times ð Their are probably more professional type journals out there than this one, but for the price it’s pretty good and it is fairly well thought out. I also wanted a more ‘casual’ type journal so the girl didn’t see it as a big task to do a page each day as she was in crisis mode at the time. She loved this book and especially the quotes inside from celebs like Lady Gaga. It’s one of the better journals to buy for that awkward age where they aren’t yet teens but not little girls anymore either. I am a counsellor and highly recommend journaling for both kids and adults. Journaling improves self worth, promotes a positive mindset using goal setting, self expression and getting in touch with emotions, identifying the thoughts that cause the negative emotions so we can begin to replace with a ‘better feeling’ thought. It provides structure and purpose to each day which is proven to calm the central nervous system helping with anxiety/depression symptoms. Reduce kids screen time before bed by replacing with journaling. What most people don’t realise that if we keep our brain active in this way and having new thoughts and realisations about ourselves, we can actually create new neurons in the brain aiding improved mental health. “Brain cells that fire together, wire together – Dr Joe Dispenza ð” To teach our kids how to be mindful in this way and to learn how to regulate their nervous system is the most important thing they will learn and I don’t know why schools don’t make time for this within the school curriculum ð Anyway I’m rambling on now but this book has the added bonus of some ‘fun’ activities such as asking your friends what your best qualities are which is a genius way of improving self love by providing external validation in a healthy way without them even realising that’s what the exercise is for. The girls mother loved this gift and said it helped her daughter through a tough time ð©·
