I really like the smell of these and the wax feels solid in that each square breaks apart nicely, the wax feels soft, and it melts evenly.My only complaint is that they donât last very long. Iâll usually leave my wax diffuser on for a couple hours and after that the smell just never returns with consecutive uses.

Doesn’t seem to have much scent…
As soon as I opened the package I thought I would smell the sandalwood, but I don’t. I haven’t put one in my electric warmer yet because I also purchased BHG brand and I am thrilled with that one.If/ when I choose to put a Shorties one in and hopefully it will change my mind about the brand, then I will change my review, until then I stand with my first impressions of this product.

It’s Not A Sandalwood Scent
I bought the Sandalwood fragrance wax melts. Unfortunately, it doesn’t smell like sandalwoodâit’s more like a vanilla candy. At least the fragrance is strong, like the package says.If you enjoy the current trend of everything smelling like food, you’ll like this.If you like sandalwood, you’ll be very disappointed. Very disappointed.

These wax melts, melt well, have a long-lasting but not overpowering fragrance, and are more masculine undertones. This wax is a little more expensive but it cleans well, smells great, and has a long-lasting scent.

Cloyingly sweet
I was very disappointed with the scent of these wax melts. I have two different flower scents that were given to me with the warmer, but I much prefer a woodsy, earthy scent, so I purchased these sandalwood melts. However, they barely hint at sandalwood and reek of vanilla. It’s such a sweet scent that rather than imparting a clean, outdoor freshness to the air, it smells like a bowl of pudding. If you like cloyingly sweet, by all means, these will certainly do, but if you like woodsy and earthy, these are a bad choice. They do melt nicely and they are adequately scented.

Rather strong, but warmer is placed in a rather large room, so not exactly a complaint.I think I expected more patchouli than pinon wood scent, but otherwise pleased.

The scent isn’t strong, it’s actually very light both non-melted & melted.. It also barely smells like sandalwood, it’s like random fragrant oils mixed with sandalwood.
