Great quality, thoughtful design – wonderful little gratitude journal!
I ordered this weekly gratitude journal in the “Candyland” color, which is a very pretty pink (true to the picture in the description). The journal measures roughly 7-1/2 inches x 9-1/4 inches x 5/8 inches. The cover is cloth with no dust jacket, but it arrived wrapped in plastic, so there were no marks or flaws from storage or shipping. It is a well-constructed book, lies pretty flat when opened, has thick, good quality paper, and includes a matching pink bookmark ribbon sewn into the binding. There is also a pocket inside the back cover where they have included a sheet of stickers. Overall, it is just a lovely little book. The dates are completely customizable so you can start it whenever you would like. There are a couple pages of introduction/instruction, and then the actual journal pages begin. First, there is space for weekly goals (This week, I will focus on…../I will make room to rest by…./I will honor my body by…../I will let go of….). Then each day has a prompt of “Today I’m grateful for….” with four lines to write in. The weekly reflection has prompts like “What challenge did I overcome this week, and what did I learn from it?” The focus is on gratitude, but also acknowledging your challenges, goals, and emotions. I like that there is a combination of planning and reflection in this journal. The fact that it is weekly rather than daily (except for the daily jotting of things you are grateful for) might make it a bit less daunting for someone who is new to journaling, or who has time constraints. I think it is thoughtfully designed and would make a fantastic gift for anyone – including yourself! – who is interested in self-reflection, growth, and cultivating gratitude. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, well organized, high quality
According to Psychology Today, research studies suggest that gratitude might âplay an important part in helping us thrive.â The studies the publication cites indicate that people who kept gratitude journals reported feeling happier, less burnt-out at their jobs, and other benefits.Iâve tried to keep a gratitude journal, but for some reason I donât keep it up. I ordered this Skyline Weekly Gratitude Journal because the design and layout on the product page really appealed to me and I thought working with it would encourage me to write in it on a regular basis. Unlike other gratitude journals Iâve looked at, it doesnât expect me to write a lot each dayâjust a couple of lines will do. Once a week I it allows me to look back at the last 7 days and summarize my thoughts and feelings about gratitude. Itâs all easy and doesnât take long to complete.On top of that, the journal is beautiful and of high quality, with thick pages, excellent design, and a gorgeous cover. I admire it every time I pick it up, and it becomes pure pleasure to add my gratitudinal thoughts. Iâm very happy with this choice of a gratitude journal.Technical details: Each week gets two pages â enough for a year (you can start at any time of the year). The left-hand page allows a short entry for each day of the week; the right-hand page is where you write a summary of thoughts and feelings for the week. The size is perfect, not too big and not too small, approximately 8 x 9 inches, and it has three different ribbons for keeping your current position or places you want to remember.Thanks for reading my review â I hope it was helpful!

When I saw this journal in person for the first time, it just made me smile! ð The orange colored journal is gorgeous. My photo doesnât do it justice. Even the 3 included ribbon bookmarks coordinate! ðAttention to detail is much appreciated, and this journal invites and tempts me to use it. Well done! ðð¼ It has a cloth hardcover with a textured graphic on the front. (I like sensory items like that!)I LOVE that this journal makes suggestions and shares ideas, leaving lots of space for creativity. The first opportunity to write is to answer a couple of questions, which will set me up for success. Iâve used not-so-fancy gratitude journals in the past, and Iâve seen the benefits of not only the practice, but also looking back on the things Iâve written that Iâm grateful for.This journal will turn into a beautiful keepsake for me! Starting the day off with an attitude of gratitude is the best way, in my opinion. This is an excellent tool to assist with that! âï¸
