I love this diffuser
I love this diffuser!! This is the one that my Deva Curls certified stylist uses after cutting then washing my hair. I have mostly type 3b curls, with 3c at my crown and 3a on the bottom in the back. I’m able to dry all of my hair completely without any frizzing at all. My hair is BSL and using this diffuser on a Revlon RV544PKF 1875W Tourmaline Ionic Ceramic dryer takes about 25-30 minutes. It fits snugly and I have never had it pop off or get too hot where it is over the barrel of the dryer. The only downside is that I have taken it with me when traveling & the driers in the hotels are always way too small to use it (several times the dryer has been the same size as the diffuser itself) so you definitely need a regular sized dryer not a travel sized for it. But if I really needed my hair dried I would just bring both my diffuser & dryer with me.

Works as advertised
I’ve got extremely fine and thin 2c/3a hair, depending on humidity. I got this because it’s getting cold out and I don’t want to have to walk around with a wet head.One thing I was wondering from the picture is if the fingers blow air onto your head. They do, they get air right under the roots.This clipped just fine onto my Conair dryer. The first time I put it on, I hadn’t pushed it all the way down and it fell off. Now it takes up most of the exhaust tube and stays on firmly.I’m using it as I read to use it. I start with my usual leave in conditioner and some gel, then I hold it against my roots for a few minutes without moving it, working around my entire head. I then gather the length of my hair in clumps into it and dry the ends. This is why I haven’t given it 5 stars: the fingers are not head shaped/rounded enough. I would prefer if I could hold it flat against my scalp and the fingers would all be touching, blowing air under my roots. Maybe my head is especially round, but I usually only get 2-3 fingers touching my scalp, the rest blow off into the air or at any hanging hair.Drying this way takes a while, but my hair isn’t any frizzier than it would be from air drying unless I move it around too much.

Since going completely natural with my hair ( I am caucasian). My hair has become very wavy and some what curly. I have been trying to air dry my hair as much as possible, but sometimes it just is not professional to show up to an early meeting with a wet head, or it is just to cold to go outside with a wet head. I will then use the diffuser to give my hair the last minute drying. Wow, to is great and drying without frizzing my hair and it also helps make the curls more defined…I love my diffuser. It fit my dryer which has a more norrow neck…this will not fit dryers with a wider neck…

Great Product!
I’ve been using Solano products for the past several years now, and have been exceedingly happy with my blow-dryer. The other month I decided to treat myself to a new blow-dryer though, and thought it would be nice to finally get a diffuser to go along with it. I have long, wavy hair, that sometimes takes a very long time to dry, and this helps immensely with lifting the roots and drying more gently and evenly. It is also a universal type of attachment which should fit a variety of brands and models of hair-dryers. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Not quality
Was expecting genuine solano product but itâs very damaged. Disappointed, thought this brand would have higher expectations. Also it has SOMEONE ELSES HAIR IS IN IT. Gross.

Great for initial drying and cutting down on frizz and increasing waves/curls if you want to “scrunch,” or just start drying.
Great for initial drying, as I have naturally wavy/curly hair. This diffuser allows me to “scrunch” my hair (after I wash, condition and put some styling products in it), and help coach the natural waves/curls to last longer and not frizz out.So, I use this first for a few minutes and get the hair somewhat dry, then I can revert to the “directional” nozzle that directs the heat where you want it. I love these Solano products. My hairdresser uses them, that’s how I learned about them and decided to buy the dryer and diffuser (softstyler).

It does the job and fits over my chi hairdryer. The heat option cannot be higher on the hairdryer as the air is too hot to be able to hold onto the dryer for too long. The air flow comes back through the diffuser.
