Bulk set for wedding!
The candles were a little smaller than I expected, but perfect for our wedding in October. We have a lot of the smaller hurricane glasses and mostly all are smaller. The candles did give off a strange chemical scent, which was unexpected considering I thought beeswax would be more natural. Overall a nice bulk pack!

As expectedâ¦although a bit smaller than I had wanted (more narrow than a typical votive). They do have a very mild unique scent but not offensive and hardly noticeable. I was not impressed with burn time tbh, with beeswax I expected longer. Iâd say I got a solid six hours out of them. Not a bad purchase but might try a different brand next time.

Solid Beeswax Candles, but a Little Pricey
These burn nicely and last for about an evening. Overall, they’re nice enough, but nothing major to note… they are beeswax though, so that’s where the value is here!

Quality Little Votive Candles…
Is saying “little votive” a tautology? (A tautology is the opposite of an oxymoron. Where an oxymoron is a phrase that sounds contradictory, a tautology is a phrase that is redundant.) I ask this because anyone who buys a tealight candle knows the size, and I would think votive might be the same way. The product description does say “Mini Beeswax Pillar Candle” in addition to the votive, and this is part of why I wondered. Anyway, moving on from that. These candles came packaged well with cardboard separators between each candle. One thing that you always hear about cooking/baking and restaurants is “Presentation is Everything!”, and these candles are the same way. It might seem like a simple thing, but each candle was wrapped like a chocolate-covered cherry with some thin brown paper. This not only protects the candles but also makes for a great-looking bunch of candles when you open the box. The candles were all quality, perfectly shaped, and burned exactly as promised & expected. Yes, I have another candle-related question… They say that bees are dying at an alarming rate worldwide, so are companies that make candles like this doing anything to give back to the black and yellow little guys that are helping them to succeed? I would say food for thought, but I already made a food reference and just realized that I might need to go get a snack. These are great all-natural candles and I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for quality bee barf! Ok, I guess I’m an idiot, because when I ordered these, I thought there were multiple sizes in the package… because the first photo shows the candles on risers of varying heights. Yup, that was totally on me.. and I thought I was getting a great price on varying heights of pillar candles, so I didn’t even delve into the listing any further. I thought I had ordered something completely different than what I received and that’s on me. The description called them mini pillar candles though, so maybe just simply referring to them as votive candles would have solved my confusion.That being said, they burn well, lasting a long time (over the advertised 9 hours for me), and they burn cleanly. They’re scentless and packaged well to prevent damage, but also provide a nice presentation when opening. All in all, great candles… but at just over $2/candle I don’t know that I would order them again.
