Engage the science of positivity for greater health and happiness.
Gratitude is a powerful emotion that conveys appreciation for a moment that has touched you in some way and moves you to express thankfulness. When you experience gratitude, your brain releases neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin, resulting in a host of tangible benefits associated with positive thinking and emotions. Practiced regularly, gratitude literally rewires your brain to be more optimistic, flexible, and joyful, while simultaneously reducing stress and anxiety, building resilience to adversity, and strengthening your immune system, cardiac health, sleep hygiene, and more. These many positive changes to your health and well-being are “the gratitude effect,” and because these effects are cumulative, the more you practice gratitude, the greater its impact over time.
With The Gratitude Effect Positivity Journal, you’ll engage your brain’s neuroplasticity to reshape your worldview—and retrain your brain for greater joy, resiliency, and personal empowerment.

Grateful for The Gratitude Effect
Although Iâve known for some time that practicing gratitude is essential to improved well-being, I have been remiss to make a habit of it – until now! Randyâs book is just the tool needed to transform this abstract goal into an established new way of thinking. I’m grateful to Randy for this practical journal that is helping in my quest to become a more positive person.

Wonderful gratitude journal
I started to use this gratitude journal on Winter Solstice (the first day of Winter) so I will be finishing it on the last day of winter. So far Iâm really loving it! It has no fluff, bull, extras, just straight to the point. Ok, it has 1 tiny inspirational quote on the bottom of each page which is fine. I definitely will purchase this again.

gratitude+ daily practice =more happiness
Dr Kamenâs practical book makes it easy to start the daily gratitude practice that will make us happier. Nice format of the journaling pages helps with focus and introspection. A plus is the summary of the best neuroscience research on the benefits of practicing gratitude, with references listed.

For Beginners and Those With a Beginner Mindset
Dr. Kamen manages to distill the essence of good therapy into an easy and accessible format. It may seem simplistic – but really she has cut right to the heart of how to train our minds and emotions to live a fuller and more positive life.
