    An outline/guidance tool to improve therapy sessions 100a%
    What I love about the Therapy Journal is that it made each session more productive. At first I was fire-hosing all my thoughts from childhood to adulthood without a deeper understanding or outline of what I was trying to accomplish. The journal gave me perspective on how to break-down and communicate different issues, so that my Therapist could help me strategize and resolve these barriers step by step in a more organized way that I could record and refer back to in my journal. I think everyone in therapy should have one! The only thing I would change is I prefer a spiral binding, but I love this journal either way.

    Incredibly helpful tool to help track thoughts, ideas, takeaways and progress while in therapy.
    After my 2nd or 3rd [virtual] therapy session, I recognized that I may forget all of the takeaways and ideas discussed if I didn’t write it down. But I have a problem journaling from scratch. Then I came across this book and the daily session prompts are extremely helpful and have motivated me to jot my thoughts down before/after a session. I received it and was able to use it by my 5th session but recalled what my goals were for what I wanted to get out of therapy, discussed in my 1st session and was sure to write them down. I shared the link to this journal on Amazon with my therapist and she thought it was a wonderful idea! Thank you to the authors for creating it! If you’re like me, someone who has never been good with journaling and needs a little prompting/guidance, I’d recommend this.

    I got this to help take notes during sessions. It’s helped me to keep my thoughts straight and I love having the journey documented, so I can read back as a reminder. I also like that you can notate your feelings before and after the sessions. That’s cool to compare.

    Just okay
    The journal has decent prompts and plenty of room to write. I’ve used it for a few weeks and it has been fine. That said, if you’re driven crazy by grammatical errors, do NOT get this journal. There are so many typos. I really have a hard time understanding how two creators, and presumably an editor, could let so many through the cracks. It just makes me feel that not much care was given.
