Good for both photos and ephemera/journaling
I like that this includes pages for storing photos/postcards/etc. and pages to write on. I also like the envelope provided at the front and the dangles on the leather cords.I don’t care for the cover material – it feels plastic-y and stiff. Also not fond of the short white end papers at the front and back surrounding the coils. Not thrilled – but it’s good for its intended purpose.

I got this for my photographer husband to enjoy some of his photos and notes. It is a really wonderful album. He loves many design details. Mostly, he loves all things from older times, and this retro travel journal is perfect for him. He even proposed that we schedule a new trip just so he can use it!The journal appears to be very well-made. Even the charms at the end of the latching strings are solid and, well, charming! The journal comes with a pouch to hold small items and a folder pocket, as well as the photo pages and note paper. There’s even a small leather bookmark with ruler markings! How clever.I am thrilled with how much my husband loves this journal.
