Really Nice – Caution on using essential oils with plastic!
Great unit, I would not hesitate to buy another for another workspace.What can kill it:There are quite a bit of reviews saying it didn’t last long. I have quite a bit of working knowledge in the field of appliances that use water.Hard water – If you care about product longevity, use bottled, softened, or RO water. Calcium will destroy it in short order.Essential oils – Yes, despite any advertising, DO NOT use essential oils. They are highly corrosive toward plastics. In just days or weeks, it can make plastic so brittle that barely touching it, let alone its normal function, will break it. Not all oils will do this, but do your research, for example NEVER expose plastics to peppermint oil.
