Nice flaxseed product, bummed about plastic bottle
This flaxseed oil is soft and smooth on my skin and hair and smells appropriate for the product.I was disappointed this was packaged in a plastic bottle–usually Verona packages their items in glass, or at least they did. Glass better preserves the integrity of the product and does not leach nanoplastic particles into the product and is not bioaccumulation (i.e., plastic never degrades). Hopefully the company will change it back!

Good in soap
I can’t speak to any sort of benefits of using this for culinary or health purposes as I only use it to add certain properties to my homemade soaps. It appears to be of good quality and it is organic–a definite plus!

Smooth Carrier Oil
Iâve been using velona brand Flaxseed Oil for blending scented massage oils and it mixes easily without an overpowering odor. The texture feels light and it works well.

My Skin Loves This…
I use this standalone oil and mixed with other natural oils for body moisturizer when I’m freshly showered and still slightly damp to very wet. It smells light and lovely and absorbs beautifully. My research has shown that it is fantastic for skin tightening and even might be useful for stretch marks. Ultimately it just leaves my skin feeling really moist especially when I mix it with a few other natural oils all of which have different benefits for the skin and it spreads really well when my skin is wet and still warm from the shower so that I don’t use too much product. I really enjoy this and it is priced right!

Great for seasoning cast iron
I primarily use flaxseed oil for seasoning cast iron. It is one of the best oils for this. You can find guides online. This velona flaxseed oil is cheap and works just as well as the other more expensive brands I have used in the past. This should last me for years as my seasoning oil. Recommended for that purpose!Flaxseed oil doesn’t have a great shelf life so you NEED to refrigerate it. I was surprised that it wasn’t mentioned anywhere.

Smooth and light!
Ive been using this flax oil on my hands and face. It’s highly absorbent and lightweight leaving my skin smooth and soft, with a hit of nutty aroma. Overall great product!
