Some aspects of my review are subjective, sharing personal preferences, while others are grounded in factual observations.A while ago, I needed to get more coconut oil as I always keep it in stock. Although I bought it from the grocery store, I made absolutely certain the jar listed virgin organic unrefined, *COLD PRESSED* (NOT expeller pressed) Well, right away I noticed the properties of expeller pressed : very very faint coconut aroma, a bit more translucent, lacking that rich, opaquely white property unique to cold pressed unrefined virgin cold pressed extracted.Since then, I have been selective about which coconut oil I will buy. While I don’t dismiss the legitimacy of others, I know this particular brand is of quality and is as described.-Expeller pressed coconut oil is best for culinary uses, yet for skincare, cold pressed extraction unrefined virgin is the ideal choice. -There’s always exceptions, perhaps one would like to explore the skin care uses of coconut oil yet they really dislike the aroma of coconut, they’d want to get the expeller pressed , more refined =less coconut flavor /aroma (which is obviously why it’s ideal for cooking ) and I have heard of people preferring to cook with cold pressed unrefined as well.For those seeking a genuinely cold pressed extracted, unrefined, virgin coconut oil, I am confident to recommend this is a solid one.My favorite use : I put some coconut oil in a jar and add a drop or two of steam distilled lime peel essential oil, making sure the coconut oil is at a cool temperature like placing the jar itself into a bowl of ice cubs -it is so very important not to allow ANY single bit of h2o to get in the jar of coconut oil – I get my hand mixer and whip the coconut oil to a fluff and it smells SO divine paired with the lime. I do not apply it on my skin unless I am just out of the shower with wet to damp skin, otherwise on non damp skin it will just feel extremely greasy.It will work best when skin is still damp, as any oil /or lotion etc is going to help prevent some of the remaining water droplets from evaporating away that would otherwise all evaporate away – due to the reduction of trans epidermal water loss= reduction in dry, parched skin. An oil is not a moisturizer on its own, as a ‘moisturizer’ has to have a water component to be able to impart said moisture, such as a lotion. So I use my oils and butters on damp skin only. I also like to infuse coconut oil with vanillla bean pods. Vanilla bean my #1 absolute favorite aroma to pair with coconut.Never mix water and oil products without a preservative other than one time uses/the contamination of mold and bacteria is a guarantee, and it takes a few days for it to be populated enough to be detectable /visible. There are various preservative ingredients available that are perfectly safe, everything on earth is a “chemical” .. I am made of chemicals, the screen you are reading this on is composed of all chemicals, all matter. Ignore the fear mongering misinformation that uses phrases like “scary chemicals”, it does not make any sense because everything in life is a chemical.

This coconut oil smell so good when I make pancake, sweet but no sugar.I ‘m glad that they sell on Amazon since I could not find in any groceries in a while.I prefer to use it for sweet, dessert.

I Use On My Hair
I know this sounds weird but I use this on my hair after I get out of the shower while still wet, before I blow dry.I have super dry hair (mostly due to the fact I bleach it) and it requires alot of oil and moisturizer to keep it from frizzing out and breaking off.I have used different kinds of coconut oils to put in my hair but the problem is they all harden when placed in my hair. I take a small amount of coconut oil and rub it around to get it warm and melt, then put it on the ends and all over in my hair. I do mix it with a tiny bit of deep conditioner and also some morrocan oil and/or argan oil. Overall it’s a fair amount. Other coconut oils would immediately harden after placed in my hair since my hair is wet and cold at this point. But this oil stays soft and pliable and doesn’t look like i used hair gel.I have not ever used it for cooking but I do know that it smells very good so I imagine it will taste like coconut also, giving that flavor to anything you cook.

Best coconut oil so far for skin and hair. I also use it with peppermint oil and tea tree oil the swish and rinse my mouth. Very great product.
