Warm towel after shower.
Looks good and works well. I got this one because it listed a higher wattage then others. However I wish the towel got warmer.

It doesnât warm a towel
It doesnât do what it claims it will. Also, it is small. The images are deceiving. This thing looks like itâs meant to hang rags. A full size bath towel has to be folded in half to fit. Metal is thin, has a few sharp edges. Chrome plating is even thinner. This seems like it would start to rust within a year or less, especially in a smaller shower room that is frequently steamy.Purchased mid December for wife as Xmas gift. Arrived in allotted time and before Xmas. Instructions are in English, but are very generic. Easy to install for someone who has hung a few things on a wall. Hardware is cheap. Lag bolts have a collar just below the hex head, this prevents the bold from seating all the way firmly. A ratchet and socket could force the bold to seat, but the collar would pry open the cheap metal. Screw holes are small; nothing but mechanical pencil lead will pass through to mark the wall. I used the screws to put little dents in the dry wall. Screws arenât large enough to pull rack to wall snugly. Install took around 30 mins, with the right tools. Cord is a good length, but was scuffed it off the package. Buttons work.This Turned it on and waited about 20 before hanging a towel. It got warm. Bottom rail isnât very warm. Top rails are the hottest. Side rails get warm. Put on a towel, check back on it every 10 mins. Not warm, not even the slightest. Put hand beneath towel at the rails, rails warm, not the towel. I let it hang for 2 hours total. The towel had a faint sign of warmth on the underside touching the rails, but only at the top of the towel. The free hanging part never got warm.For the price I expected more. This is being returned.

So despite some skepticism, ordered this item. I assembled it and plugged it in, I did not install it onto the wall. I wanted to test it first. Good thing I did! I put a towel on the rack and went out for a run, hoping on a chilly day I’d have extra warmth after a hot shower. Well, the rack itself did get fairly warm. But the one towel hanging on there never did. So I decided to return the item. It’s too bad. We really enjoyed the heated towel rack we used in Europe.

Decent replacement to a hard wired rack
We have a hardwired rack that we love and wanted something similar in our second bathroom but without opening walls and running circuits. The ability to plug this in a regular outlet is nice, but not best looking if you don’t like wires hanging around.Some comments complained about the temperature of the rack, ours gets pretty hot. Installation is not too hard, but might require an extra set of hands when marking the wholes to be drilled.Overall, we’re pleased with the product, especially since we got it during BF so it was discounted.One feature that was a miss for us was the lack of the on/off button position state. I was planning on using a smart plug to set a schedule for the rack, but the rack on/off status resets each time the plug turns off the power, so the only way to use the rack is to manually press the on button each time and select one of the two timer options it has.
