This last lot was thinner than normal, and the trays âmeltedâ if the wax I was pouring was too hot. Resolved tho issue by pouring the wax into the trays at a lower temperature.Still a great deal!

Wax melt clams shells
I purchased these wax melt clamshells because the price was right. Clamshells from the candle suppliers are great, but theyâre not as economical to purchase as these. The description says they hold 2.4 ounces but I have found you can get a tad bit more than this said 2.4 ounces in each clamshell. I usually put my wax at about 145° and I have not experienced any melting. Even though they have a slight blue to them when theyâre all stacked together, they are clear when pulled apart. There is no blue tinge to my wax melts.

I love these clam shells! They are the perfect size, not too small as I have found other brands. They close and seal nicely. I have not found any to pop open yet. They are great for making a nice larger size wax melt. Customers are pleased with the size as well. I will order again.
