Beautiful Design!
This journal is as beautiful as the other reviews say it is! There are tiny flecks of silver in the design, just enough to be pretty and not so much that it looks tacky if you don’t like metallic accents. I have the camping logbook to record all of our campsites and I wanted a book that is the same size to record all of our hikes. This is the exact same size, shape, and build quality as that book so they will look awesome standing together on my shelf. I do wish that it was actually formatted for recording hikes, but that’s not a big deal and might work out better anyway since sometimes the log format of the camping version has too big or not big enough blanks, depending on what I have to say about a place. I intend to come up with some sort of format to include the name of the trail, length, date we hiked it, etc., and then also include our thoughts and stories from each trail.

And the design. It just makes you WANT to write in it!! Whether because you’re journaling daily, or going on an extended trip and want to journal while your brain is out in the wilderness. I’m STILL kicking myself in the behind for NOT having a journal when I trekked in Nepal, the thoughts in my head that I L O S T over those two weeks!!! I regret it to this day. Don’t fall for that, this is a beautiful book to have with you. Or gift the sentiment to someone close!

Darling. But Small
I was too lazy to actually get out my tape measurer before buying this to “compare” it to my current journal which is 7 by 9. This journal is a bit smaller as you can see. I hope it won’t matter. I do a lot of writing and drawing in my journals as well as adding notes. I chose this specific Journal because it does have a back pocket which I absolutely find very convenient. But it’s really cute and I think I will enjoy it… it will certainly be easier to put in my purse!

Love it but… It’s WIDE RULED…!!
I love journals with ivory pages and especially love the texture on the cover of this one.. Half the time I wish the seller would just be more descriptive about the item though, I love college ruled (or even smaller) so I can fit so many more words per page, because wide ruled feels too wide and I feel like I’m just wasting the pages…At this point can’t decide if I’m keeping it or not, because I do love the design and the texture of the trees/mountains, but don’t feel like I’ll enjoy writing in it as much since it’s wide ruled…
